Environmental Protection Agency Approves MOMS by OdorXit as a Disinfectant; ideal for home and pet use

HAMILTON, Ohio—The U.S. Envi­ron­men­tal Pro­tec­tion Agency has approved MOMS by Odor­Xit as a dis­in­fec­tant, con­clud­ing it is effec­tive for killing not only bac­te­ria, includ­ing the often deadly MRSA bac­te­ria, but also such viruses as the influenza virus run­ning ram­pant in the United States, the Her­pes Sim­plex Type I, and many other viruses that affect humans and ani­mals, includ­ing Parvo Virus.

The EPA cer­ti­fied MOMS (Mold Odor Mildew Smoke San­i­tizer) as a “high-level dis­in­fec­tant” effec­tive against all types of organ­isms, includ­ing bac­te­ria, viruses and endospores. MOMS does not allow organ­isms to mutate, it pen­e­trates biofilm, and kills Legionella’s bac­terium. It also kills Staph A, the influenza A virus, the E. coli bac­terium, aspergillus fun­gus, sal­mo­nella enter­ica, feline cal­civirus, and many other microbes on any hard non-porous sur­face. Cincin­nati, OH (Jan­u­ary 8, 2013) Skilled Care Phar­macy, Inc. (“Skilled Care”), a lead­ing insti­tu­tional phar­macy focused on senior liv­ing providers located in Mason, OH, is pleased to announce the for­ma­tion of a part­ner­ship with, and an invest­ment by, Link·age Ven­tures, Inc. (“Link·age”), a pri­vate equity firm focused on invest­ing in lead­ing com­pa­nies that pro­vide prod­ucts, ser­vices and tech­nol­ogy to the aging marketplace.

The trans­ac­tion, which was agreed to on Decem­ber 31, 2012, enables Link·age to own a sig­nif­i­cant equity posi­tion in Skilled Care and to part­ner with Skilled Care in grow­ing and guid­ing the com­pany to future suc­cess.  The infu­sion of long-term cap­i­tal by Link·age will be used to posi­tion the com­pany for growth and to accel­er­ate the adop­tion of new tech­nolo­gies, such as remote dis­pens­ing.
